Support Us

The Canucks Family Education Centre is determined to make a lasting and positive influence on the children and families that it serves. CFEC looks to positively impact literacy levels and offer valuable support and assistance for families in Metro Vancouver. Literacy is an integral part of life, contributing not only to academic and professional success, but also to personal development and life skills. Like most organizations, CFEC would not be nearly as influential and effective if it weren’t for the support and assistance of other organizations, volunteers, and people like you.

If you would like to get involved and make a positive difference in the lives of children and families throughout Metro Vancouver, here are some ways you can help:

Make a Donation

Cheques can be made out to the “Canucks Family Education Centre” and mailed to:

Canucks Family Education Centre
1001 Cotton Drive Room 110
Vancouver BC V5L 3T4

Further information about ways to donate can be obtained by contacting Jean Rasmussen at 778 321-3487.

Be a Volunteer

CFEC depends on the help of numerous volunteers to make each learning experience as effective and enjoyable as possible. There are a variety of positions that you can become involved with. To find out more information about how you can get involved as a volunteer for the various programs or with CFEC in general, contact Jean Rasmussen at 604-713-8266 (7110).

Practicums and Internships

CFEC is proud to provide post-secondary students the chance to gain a unique experience, and possible credits towards their academic careers, through personalized practicums and internships for qualified and committed students. CFEC has been fortunate enough to have mentored students from Simon Fraser University, the University of British Columbia, Langara College, and Vancouver Community College. For further information, please contact Jean Rasmussen at 604-713-8266 (7110).
